About Rad Orthodontics
At Rad Orthodontics, we believe orthodontic care should be personal, not rushed. That’s why we’ve built a boutique practice in Richmond Hill where every patient receives one-on-one attention from a board-certified orthodontic specialist, not rotating staff or assistants. When you visit our clinic, you’ll always see the same orthodontist who knows your case, understands your goals, and is personally invested in your smile. This continuity of care is what sets us apart from larger practices, and it’s why families throughout Richmond Hill, Oak Ridges, and King City trust us with their orthodontic treatment.

Why Choose a Specialist Orthodontist in Richmond Hill?
You may have noticed that many general dental practices now offer orthodontic services. While general dentists provide excellent care in their area of expertise, there’s an important distinction between a general dentist who offers braces and a certified orthodontic specialist.
What Makes an Orthodontist Different?
An orthodontist completes an additional two to three years of full-time, advanced training after dental school, focusing exclusively on tooth movement, jaw alignment, and facial development. This specialised education covers:
- Complex bite correction and jaw alignment
- Growth and development of the face and jaws
- Biomechanics of tooth movement
- Treatment planning for children, teens, and adults
- Management of challenging and complex cases
The FRCD(C) Credential
The Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada designation is not automatically granted upon completing specialty training. It requires passing a rigorous national examination that tests both knowledge and clinical competency. When you see a specialist with FRCD(C) after their name, you know they’ve demonstrated expertise at the highest level recognised in Canada.
At Rad Orthodontics, you receive care from a true specialist, not a general dentist offering orthodontics as a side service.
Patient-Centred Orthodontic Care
At Rad Orthodontics, our approach to orthodontic care is guided by a few core principles:
You Deserve One-on-One Attention
In many orthodontic practices, patients see the orthodontist briefly, if at all, while most of the appointment is handled by assistants. We do things differently. At every visit to our Richmond Hill clinic, you’ll spend meaningful time with your orthodontic specialist, who personally performs adjustments, monitors your progress, and answers your questions.
Honest, Pressure-Free Consultations
We believe in giving you honest information so you can make the best decision for yourself or your child. If treatment isn’t necessary, we’ll tell you. If your child isn’t ready for braces yet, we’ll monitor their growth at no charge until the right time. There’s never any pressure to begin treatment before you’re ready.
Transparent Pricing with No Surprises
We know that cost is an important consideration. That’s why we provide clear, all-inclusive pricing upfront, no hidden fees, no unexpected charges. Our treatment fees include everything: braces or aligners, all adjustment appointments, retainers, and follow-up care. We also offer interest-free payment plans to make treatment accessible for every family.
Accessibility When You Need Us
Orthodontic concerns don’t always happen during office hours. That’s why our patients can text the doctor directly, even after hours and on weekends, for peace of mind. You’ll never have to wait until Monday wondering if something is wrong.
